The house that he and Agnes lived in sat on the northeast corner of Water and Curtis road.
Article from the February 15, 1887 newspaper stated, " The Hotel of Thomas Gransden in Edenville was robbed. The thieves gained entry by way of the front window. They then made their way into the bar room and stole a keg of whiskey valued at over $15.00. They took all the loose silver Tom had left in the loose change drawer."

On March17,1920 Agnes was on her way home from seeing her doctor in Midland and was riding as a passenger when the auto was involved in a accident on old US 10 near Averill. She died the next day from injuries received in the accident. The car involved in the accident was driven by her daughter-in-law Nell Gransden.

Orton Ambrose Gransden [Parents] was born on 15 Mar 1889 in Edenville, Midland, Michigan, USA. He died on 18 Jul 1945. He was buried on 21 Jul 1945 in Edenville, Midland, Michigan, USA. He married Living on 11 Oct 1915.

As a young man Orton worked as a brakeman for a railroad company. Later he moved to Kansas City,Missouri where he worked at a box factory. He married and shortly there after moved to Baltimore Maryland. He later was called back to the box factory and became their superintendent. In 1945 came back to Edenville for a visit and also had a heart attack and died . He died the same month and day
that his mother died 25 years earlier.
